A second pilot training for the In2C project carried out in Spain

On December 1, 2, 3 and 4, the Cantabria Construction Labor Foundation and DOCUMENTA carried out the second pilot training of the European In2C Project "Integration of Nationals from Third Countries in the Construction Sector" at the Center of Training of the FLC in Barreda (Cantabria) for a group of NTPs that participate in the Red Cross program.

For four days, the participating TCNs were able to carry out the training that the In2C project has prepared in Health and Safety (Prevention of Occupational Risks) and Labor Legislation and the Labor Market in Spain. In addition, they were able to learn about the online tools that were designed within the project to improve the skills and abilities of TCNs interested in working in the Construction Sector: Terminological Glossary, Technical Vocabulary based on images, E-Platform and SOnAT.

This second pilot training was received with great interest by the participants, who took advantage of these four days to improve their knowledge in aspects of the Construction Sector and to learn more about the In2C project.

Over the next few months, these trainings will continue to be developed for 100 TCNs interested in working in the Construction Sector in Spain.

The European project In2C has one goal: the integration of TCNs in the labour market, and, more specifically, in the Construction Sector. This is accomplished through an integral training based on ICTs which is focused on the improvement of TCN’s competences regarding the host country’s language and those related to the Construction Sector, as well as the creation of networks among employers and TCNs.
